Members of CHS Natural Helpers traveled to Washington D.C. recently to attend multiple seminars about leadership and drug/alcohol prevention. They visited the Capitol, listened to numerous speakers and had the privilege of meeting house members and senators, such as Susan Collins. They talked with her about what they do in our community, and how government funding impacts their small group. They were also able to meet other youth groups who have similar goals and plan to bring some ideas back to Fort Kent to continue to build a healthier community.
